The Fourth Annual Michigan Sports Education Seminar is scheduled August 10-11, 2016. Each Michigan Sports partner can bring up to four guests complimentary. Additional guests, or non-members can join for a fee of $25.00. For additional information and RSVP please contact Jamie Schlagel - Jschlagel@westmisports.com.
Since 1943, Kalamazoo has been the site of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Boys' 18 & 16 National Championships. Pure Michigan Sports will have the opportunity to meet with tournament officials and committee chairs to learn about facilities, sponsorships, volunteers, sports medicine, scheduling, special events and much more.
Parking at the tournament is limited, so please plan to arrive at the Radisson Plaza Hotel & Suites in downtown Kalamazoo no later than 12:00 noon. We will then be taking a shuttle to the tournament site, have lunch while watching some of the top players and then have our educational seminar. We plan to be outdoors for most all of this event, so please dress accordingly as it may be warm and humid.
After we conclude our time at the tournament (planned for between 3:00 and 4:00 pm), you will then have time to check-in prior to dinner. We will meet in the lobby of the Radisson at 5:45 pm to make the short walk to The Union for dinner. Questions can be directed to Greg Ayers at gayers@DiscoverKalamazoo.com.
We look forward to seeking you in Kalamazoo!
